Candidate soup
Why can't the comment window be resized or scrolled? 1/2 the
form is cut off. I'm using fire fox. BTW: your Edwards and Gore "jokes" are lame. Gore never said he invented the internet. MSM must keep propagating LIES from the REICHT. Retractions, if any, appear ONCE at obscure times. There's a reason for freedom of the press - MSM continues to fail.
With a two party system that is more like one, the cartoons aren't as funny anymore.
Is it possible that the cartoonist here used rubber stamps? Sadly, I would hope that parroting the current hate speak wouldn't be passed off as political commentary; but here it is! So what is it? Lazyness? Blinded? or is it that he just doesn't care.

You mist have been having a bad day. I have enjoyed many of your cartoons in the past. Normally you have a very sharp wit. This one doesn't even belong in a college newspaper, let alone CNN. A right-wing lie about Al Gore. Obama represented by a quote that he never said and a drawing that would not be out of place on a poster for a reconstruction era Minstrel Show. Clinton tagged as Hillary, which is just painfully sexist; she's a woman so the press can disrespect her by using her first name and everyone else's surname. And Edwards in there just because you couldn't think of anything else. Very poor work. It should be retracted. Blank space is better than this juvenile and embarrassing attempt at political humor. Especially when compared to your other work on the page.
I don't think calling Hillary "Hillary" can be sexist when Barack Obama is labled "Barack"...Everyone needs to open their eyes a little...
I don't know why all these other commenters have their panties in a twist.
I thought this cartoon deserved a chuckle. It shows that no candidate is perfect. And since there are two Clintons in politics, I take no offense at Hillary being tagged as Hillary. |
