Can you push it like Beckham?
Excellent! If we Americans can't call ourselves world champions without playing anyone else on earth, we won't like the sport.
Following the true logic of the first comment, it would really server Americans who are completely ignorant of Soccer to finally recognize that there are millions Americans fascinated by Soccer, millions of Americans boys and girls who play it well and finally, it would really help to realize for some "off the street 'specialist' about soccer, that USA has actually very good soccer (man) team (and girls actually) ... it has like consistently 15th place in EUFA rankings ..
USA isn't #1 ... never have been, never in Politics, never in any sport, never in anything. It is only in minds of many because of isolation and events such as ...now pay attention to irony here ... WORLD series ... where WORLD of course means ... well, US! No wonder than that 15th (I think it is actually better than that) is so BAD in eyes of so many Americans. It is GREAT in reality. Long soccer want to be ... would DIE for 15th place ... (ex, Poland where I am originally from) We are so dam dam! We Americans. talking about dog fight loving spoiled rotten big bellies chewing gum and walking 99% of the time "players" who then compete with other overweighted steroid losers ... and the winer will run and scream on the stadium ... "champion of the world" ... Gosh, I am going to throw up soon ... God Help us all ... Sincerely, Shamick Gaworski
