Quack us up please
The most recent edition of the caption challenge is pretty straightforward: One giant duck decoy and three real ducks. This actual I-Report photo comes from Matthew Darrough of Kinwood, California. We want you to quack us up with your quwazy quaptions.Post a comment below and we'll feature the best caption as a post on Warp CNN, the most trusted name in news satire. And if you don't ... we'll find a suitable punishment for you. We can assure you that it will involve ducks. Big angry ones. Guidelines: • Be funny: Make like Donald Duck and Daffy Duck and make us laugh. You don't even have to be a duck. You can just be Goofy. • Keep it short: Aim for 20-50 words. That should fit the bill. Get it? "Bill." (By the way, there's an interesting story behind this photo. Darrough is taking care of the property of a man who passed away and who also happened to run a huge boat show in San Francisco with theme boats, including -- you guessed it -- the giant duck decoy. It happens to be one of the world's largest duck decoys, if not the largest. So fast forward a few years. Darrough took it on the lake for April Fool's Day last month to see how people would react. Three mallards showed up, so maybe it does work after all.)
Although adamantly made, Dale’s denial of steroid use was hard to believe.
Hold on to your web feet little duckies cuz Magnum Mallard has just landed!
Harold choked back a terrified yelp when Doris asked, “Do these feathers make me look big?”
Recent tremors confirmed as large earth quack.
Although not as well known as its Greek counterpart, the Trojan Duck was a highly feared in classical warefare...
Newsflash..My, My, the lengths some candidates will go to TEST THE WATERS...Al, is that you in there? Update..Huey, Luey, and Duey are still undecided.
Hans Flexbill, the world's strongest duck, is here to quack you up. Especailly you little girly ducks.
"Be it ape or ant, be it tree or twig, a duck is a duck, no matter how big."
--From Dr. Seuss's "Hallard the Mallard"
Immigrants are now using clever duck costumes to cross the border. However, unknown to them, duck season is now offically open.
"But Estelle, what's he got that I haven't got?"
Size does matter...
The Asiatic "Puffer Duck" (Anas horribilis), seen here in this rare photo provided by The National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C., is capable of increasing its size many fold when a threat is perceived.
He followed me home, daddy. Can I keep him?
And they thought we were lame. Look at the guy on the hill!!
