I love you Uncle Phil


My name is Austin Lennox Swint. I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I would like to salute my Uncle, Major Kelvin P. Swint of Hinesville, Georgia. He is currently serving our country in Iraq. Uncle Phil, I love & miss you very much.

'We take care of each other!'


This is a picture of my brother, Command Sargent Major Michael Boyd. He is stationed near Ramadi in the Army Reserves with the 478th Engineering Battalion out of Fort Thomas, Kentucky.

This photo was taken the day before New Year's Eve in Anbar Province. He was traveling to visit his Soldiers who were at very remote locations and to be with them for the Holidays. He wanted to let them know they have a family there while they are deployed. In his words, "We take care of each other!"

He is fiercely patriotic, and our family is so proud of him. We know how much he misses his 8 month old son Luke and his wife Becky and we can't wait until he comes home. We love you Mike.

'Wanted to share our pride'


My brother is on his second tour in Iraq. I just received this picture from him. He said he is standing on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. Our family is so thankful each and every day that he is doing okay. We are counting down the days until he returns to the United States. We are so proud of him and wanted to share our pride with the country.
