'We are glad you are our soldier'
![]() This picture is of our two girls and Warrant Officer, Scott Hinson of 3rd ID from Fort Stewart, Ga. He left on the 15th of March. He is in Iraq and due home June of 08. Total 15 mo. I believe this picture is just a small glimpse of what the children have to go through to say goodbye to their parents. He is safe and doing well, we just want to say "love you, proud of you and we are glad you are our soldier." My name is Kristi Hinson "Proud Wife" -- Kristi Hinson of Richmond Hill, Georgia 'Should be returning soon'
![]() My husband (SSgt. Jeremy Homer) is currently serving in Baghdad, Iraq working with Detachment 3, 732nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron. We are both active duty Air Force members of the 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron in Minot, ND. He has be gone almost a year now and should be returning soon. Just wanted to let him know that I love and miss him very much. -- Rebeca Homer of Minot, North Dakota 'Recenty promoted'
![]() PFC Kristi deployed to Baghdad, Iraq until late December or early January. Responsibility - satellite communications and check point female body searches. Recently promoted to E4! Congratulations to my daughter Kristi! Her entire family is quite proud of her! -- The Lopez family of Victorville, California 'Providing safety and security'
![]() This is the man that ensures the freedoms you enjoy. My boy (Matthew Roberts) hanging around in Al Anbar Iraq. He belongs to the 3rd Amphibious Assault Battalion based out of Camp Pendleton, Ca Their Company has done a stellar job in providing the safety and security that the Iraqi people are hoping for and expecting. -- Greg Roberts of Bayville, New Jersey 'We have not seen him for 17 months'
![]() Our oldest son, Steve Banyai, is a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the US Navy. He is currently a Cryptologic Technical Technician on the USS Shiloh (Battle Cruiser), whose home port is Yokosuka, Japan. We have not seen him for 17 months and miss him so much. We just received this picture of him while they were underway recently. He will be home after the holidays this year. His father Floyd, mother Mary, and brother Kevin wish to salute him. We know he is working very hard for us! Thank you. -- Mary Banyai of Sacramento, California 'Watch over Daddy'
![]() Daddy and 2 year old Jesse pose for the camera the night before Daddy is deployed. One last kiss to last until Daddy comes home. Jesse prays for Daddy every night asking God to "Watch over Daddy". My husband, Duane Fulk, is currently serving with Seabee unit NMCB 15 in Iraq. This is his second deployment as a reservist. He is a gunner for his unit so we pray for his safety constantly. I am so proud of him for his service to our family and to this country. He is a "true hero" in our eyes as are all the soldiers currently serving all over the world. I hope that our nation will remember that though they may not agree with this war, that our troops need our support. And though the media spins it that everything is bad over there, there is also a lot of good going on that we never hear about unless you have a soldier who is serving there. -- Janet Fulk of Vermillion, South Dakota 'His 3rd tour in Iraq'
