A daughter re-enlists

I guess apples don’t fall too far from the tree ... I am a Vietnam veteran (while in the US Navy), a Desert Storm veteran (while in the Army), and a US Army retiree. My daughter, Becky James, is currently serving in Afghanistan. She is a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force's Security Forces. After four years of service in the Air Force, she recently decided to commit to another four years. Here is a photo of her re-enlisting on April 6th while in Kandahar.

Her husband, SSgt Mark James, and older brother, TSgt Mark Kerr, are also serving in the Air Force. I have included another photo taken a couple of years ago of all four of us. I wish to salute all three of them. God Bless them ... and God Bless America.

Hooser family

Hello, my soldier is my husband, SSG James P. Hooser in the U.S. Army. He is currently stationed in Taji, Iraq with the 1st Brigade 1st Cav Div. He is in the group affected by the resent extension. I have included a photo of my husband, my son (Dustyn Dyer) and myself. This is my husband's second tour to Iraq, this one planning to be 15 months rather than the 12 months like before. He has served in the U.S. Army for 8 years now. If you are allowed to pass a message out to him please tell him that his family and friends back home miss him dearly and for him to keep safe and get the job done and hurry home!! Thank you for all of the support.
