Former United States president Bill Clinton sat down with CNN's Wolf Blitzer yesterday and waxed optimistic about the prospect for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians calling a deal "imminently doable".

Clinton cited "real support" from the Arab states and genuine worry from both sides about passing up another opportunity as reasons a deal is "slightly more likely to happen than not."

The former president expressed confidence in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu  and his ability to influence right-wing factions in Israel including the Yisrael Beiteinu party of his foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman

"I know that Netanyahu can deliver" he told Blitzer "It may cost him his coalition. Lieberman and his crew will have a decision to make. But they trust him on security and they will vote with him in the end to ratify an agreement."

Clinton also laid  blame on the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat for not making a peace deal in 2000...take a listen.

THE TRUTH IN ARABIC—NOT IN ENGLISH

1: !!! ""The peace talks with Israel are part of Arab strategy to isolate Israel and threaten its legitimacy.""
(Ambassador Abdullah Abdullah in Lebanon last week)

Arabs are playing once again the lying double language.
To infidels in English – masking Arabs intentions– The lying language
To Arabs in Arabic – the truth.
link describes the lying cult
http://www.islamreview.com/articles/lying.shtml

2:Every group of people prefers to be governed by their own.
Artificial boarders or imposed boarders are major reasons to conflicts
.
Examples:
Canada-French want their state: Belgian Flames want separations. Basques in Spain and France. Irish and Scotts independence from UK . Many wars in Africa because tribes have been separated or united by Europeans in artificial state. Kashmir- Cyprus- Kurds in Turkey and Iran. The Balkan wars. The former USSR dissolving into many states and current wars in Russia.

Avoid future similar conflicts while defining boarders between the Jewish Israel and the Arab Palestine.

ARABS GOVEREN ED BY ARABS. JEWS BY ISRAEL

Israel will hand over to Palestinian government land inhabited by Arabs from Israel and Jews from settlements should be governed by Israel
Both Arabs and Jew will remain in their current homes, villages and towns- nobody will have to move physically. Nobody will be transferred

3; SOLVE THE CONFLICT?
DEAL WITH THE CORE ISSUES. THOSE WILL UNVEILE ARABS GOAL.

4: What are the core Issues?
4:1 – Arabs refusal to recognize the legitimacy of the Jews to state in their 3500 old homeland.
4.2 The refugees: 1.000.000 Jews from Arab countries -650.000 Arab refugees from mandatory Palestine.
Most of Jews were expelled by Arabs.
Most of the Arabs leave obeying Arab leader's advice.
4.3; Jerusalem
Arab holly places governed by Arabs.
All the other governed by Israel.
(Arabs have a very poor record of protecting or offering equality to infidel cultures.
They should not be in charge with Christian most important holly places) )

Today's civil unrest and rioting in Israel again exposes free American provided machine gun's being used vs rock throwing Arabic civilians, sadly nothing new in this report of just a long list of the depravity's in Israel and it's long running blood feud with it's Arabic people and Arabic neighbors. I don't recall Apartheid South Africa using machine guns and white phosphorus grenades for mere crowd control and if they did the world would have loudly condemned them, does that make it OK for Apartheid Israel to conduct such responses to civil unrest? Actually much of the world loudly condemns these actions by Israel while America's news media rarely does.

Americans should boycott Apartheid Israel's business's and exports and demand their Congressional Representatives stop funneling Billions of free American taxpayer dollars and military weapons to Israel which are entirely used to kill and destroy their Arabic neighbors rather than to find the courage and honesty to craft a fair and lasting peace treaty.

American's are dieing in the Middle East everyday because Israel has not signed a comprohensive, fair and balanced peace treaty with it's Arabic neighbors. Many more American lives would be lost if Israel successfully pushes America into attacking Iran while Israel sits back and laughs at the great sacrifices made by the American people on their behalf.

It is time to pull the plug on the massive American taxpayer giveaway to the tiny nation of Israel fueling it's ancient blood feuds with it's Arabic neighbors. Place those badly needed funds into America's States that are on the brink of bankruptcy, and in the hands of other much larger nations whose populations are greatly suffering with disease, famine and poverty that have no intentions of using it to buy battle tanks to slaughter it's neighbors, instead they would use those donations to feed their people.

The Lesson that Israel did not want America to learn:

One hundred fourteen years ago, a 22-year old British Subaltern (Second Lieutenant), served on the Northwest Indian border, today, Pakistan. He was attached to the Indian Infantry 31st Punjabis, because most of their officers had been killed and they lacked leaders. After fighting in ferocious battles in Afghanistan, he wrote a best-selling book, "The Story of the Malakand Field Force." After numerous bloody engagements, he was decorated and for his courage, mentioned in dispatches.
In his book he said, "The tribesmen torture our wounded and mutilate our dead. The field hospitals and the wounded convoys are the special target of the tribesmen. We employ against them a new weapon, the dum-dum bullet, the shattering effects of which are simply appalling.
"I know the ground, the men, the country and the facts. I have earned my medal and clasp. The picture here is a terrible one. I wish I could come to the conclusion that all this barbarity, all these losses, all this expenditure, can result in a permanent settlement being obtained. I do not think however there is anything that has been done, that will not have to be done again."
His letters to the London Daily Telegraph, for which he was paid, were published without his name, for he said some unpleasant things. "Beyond each hill or mountain is a different tribe, each with a different version of their religion. The friend we have today is our ruthless enemy tomorrow. The folly of our Government's policy is to allow the tribesmen to control the buffer zone between British India (Pakistan) and Afghanistan. Until this buffer zone is annexed and controlled, the raids back and forth will continue before things can start to mend. These buffer state policies are only a temporary affair, and if we cannot control them, we ought to leave and not come back, because we can only die here and cannot win."
They tried three different times. Their losses were terrible. Eventually they left for good and did not return. Alexander The Great couldn't win there; half his huge army is still buried in Afghanistan. Neither could the Soviet Union: Their losses were an entire army and all its equipment, including aircraft.
The subaltern, who was half-American and one-eighth Iroquois Indian, went on to have a distinguished and dramatic career, in the British Army and in politics, eventually becoming Prime Minister of England, twice. For his historical memoirs, he won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Many countries have recognized him as the greatest man of the 20th Century. In my town, Kansas City, we have erected a statue of him at the Country Club Plaza. He was Winston Churchill. More than one hundred years ago he taught us the Lesson of History: We can only die there and cannot win.

Shulamit Aloni is the former Education Minister of Israel. She has been awarded both the Israel Prize and the Emil Grunzweig Human Rights Award by the Association for Civil Rights in Israel.

Yes, There is Apartheid in Israel
By SHULAMIT ALONI

"Indeed Apartheid does exist here. And our army is not "the most moral army in the world" as we are told by its commanders. Sufficient to mention that every town and every village has turned into a detention centre and that every entry and every exit has been closed, cutting it off from arterial traffic. If it were not enough that Palestinians are not allowed to travel on the roads paved 'for Jews only', on their land, the current GOC found it necessary to land an additional blow on the natives in their own land with an "ingenious proposal".

Humanitarian activists cannot transport Palestinians either.

Major-General Naveh, renowned for his superior patriotism, has issued a new order. Coming into affect on 19 January, it prohibits the conveyance of Palestinians without a permit. The order determines that Israelis are not allowed to transport Palestinians in an Israeli vehicle (one registered in Israel regardless of what kind of numberplate it carries) unless they have received explicit permission to do so. The permit relates to both the driver and the Palestinian passenger. Of course none of this applies to those whose labour serves the settlers. They and their employers will naturally receive the required permits so they can continue to serve the lords of the land, the settlers."

All Americans should entirely boycott the tiny nation of Apartheid Israel and ALL of Apartheid Israel's business's much as they did to Apartheid South Africa.

Democratic President Bill Clinton raised taxes and created more jobs in America (20 Million) than Ronald Reagan, Bush sr. and Bush jr. did COMBINED over their TWENTY YEARS. So much for the utterly corrupt Republican and Tea Baggers smear and confusion campaign on the facts.

When Hillary Clinton and President Obama succeed in a honest, fair, balanced and lasting peace treaty with Israel and it's Arabic neighbors, the only people on earth that won't be loudly cheering the saving of thousands of American soldiers lives as a direct result is going to be...Republican and Tea Bagger Candidates who will be muttering various curses and profanity's to the very few that still listen to whatever spews out of the corner of their crooked mouths.

miriam   September 27th, 2010 8:33 pm ET

Smith,

Without going into the details of your false accusations against Israel and her defence forces, Israel has invented enough weaponry, used by armies all over the world, that you need not worry about US supplying too many weapons to protect the Jewish state and its citizens from the threat of genocide.

It is also unclear why you need to dig up some dirt written almost half a decade ago by a far-left ex-politician who has devoted her career to bashing any government she is not part of and showering abuse and discriminations against specific sectors of Israeli society.

Accusations of apartheid imposed by Israel are absolutely false and simply a disturbing myth spread by radical "peace" activists and past Democratic leaders who are detached from reality and fooled by the psychological projectionism of the Arab propaganda machine.
After all, where is it that one specific religious/national group cannot live, cannot travel, cannot buy property etc? Not Israel.

Filipe   September 28th, 2010 5:25 pm ET

Smith,

Are you nuts or what????

IDF uses UZI'~s-- designed and manufactured in Israel !!!!!

Bwaaaaaaaas!!!!!!

John A   October 3rd, 2010 4:58 pm ET

Filipe add up Israels bills and the amount Israels population of 5.5million tax payers can afford. Smith is correct and its not rocket science its basic maths. Get a grip Filip.

miriam   October 5th, 2010 8:23 am ET

John A,

Look at the real US figures along with its aid to the wider international community.

Perhaps you do need to be a rocket scientist to understand the figures since your basic maths doesn't seem to cope.

If I were you and so worried about US taxpayer's dollars, I would wonder why the US has to support UN and other organizations that prefer to castigate Israel rather than help save the lives of thousands around the world who are suffering from the actions of governments who are protected by the anti-Israel lobby.

John A   October 5th, 2010 11:58 am ET

Miriam, dont worry about the UN puppet show which is controlled by politicians, who are controlled by banks & corporation. The UN has failed to stop Israel breaking resolutions for a good reason. Your innocent understanding of the UN needs to mature a little bit.

If you really want to know why Israel has nothing to fear from International courts try googling, "Jack Abramoff".

Jack Abramoff was another outstanding Jewish contribution to Americas completely corrupt political system. Go on, don't be afraid to Google Jack Abramoff and learn how politics and money fail to produce any justice at all.

The UN creates an impression that the world gathers to discuss political issues. However on numerous occasions the overwhelming view of global society is not represented in the UN. No binding laws can be passed through the UN without the unanimous agreement of the five permanent nations on the security council : Britain, France, China, Russia and America. Without the approval of these five states nothing can be accomplished through UN action.

Common trade interests between these five states means that principles are forgotten and a flee bargain is made to protect the power and wealth of each permanent member. The UN does not represent anything accept the wants of western business blocks led by the USA or Eastern power led by China and Russia.

Amid the flee bargain, the five nations have failed to apply principles of law against Israel asnot to offend trade with wealthy Jews in America.

So go on Google Jack Abramoff, study Jewish manipulation of American politics and then sleep well. Until lobby groups are outlawed in America, America will be run by crooks and Israel will be free to continue with its crookedness.
