So, all the Iraqis are gainfully employed !!!!! Congratulations !!!! And now they're turning to cheap foreign labor to solve their employment crisis !!! Great !!!!!

NO they can no longer blame all the violence and development of radical extremist ideologies on poverty and unemployment !!!!!

Great job USA !!!!!

This could even solve the poverty crisis in Palestine and Gaza !!!!!!! This could get the Palestinians off the welfare dole and be a driving force to end the existence of UNRWA !!!!! UNRWA employs 24,000 people to do nothing more than cater to the support and needs of the Palestinian people who don't have jobs!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see what excuses can be drummed up as to why the Palestinians can't be gainfully employed !!!

Anyone want to start ????

John A   May 22nd, 2009 11:00 am ET

Filipe, how much does the Jewish lobby pay you for protecting these blog sites with extreme propoganda. Or do you work for Fox news and is your mission to make CNN look out of touch and rediculous?

Filipe   May 22nd, 2009 8:03 pm ET

John A Cut N Paste<

Why do oyu think my comments have anything to do with any news agency--or an attempt to make them look ridiculous??

Do oyu have nothing to say about the articale at hand or only pesronal affronts to those who post comments about the articles??

Why don't you spend you time responding to the questions that I and others have asked you on the other pages???? Don't you have any viable answers???

Get a lfe!!!

Filipe   May 22nd, 2009 9:35 pm ET

John A Cut N Paste,

Why do you think my post makes CNN look bad??? It has nothing to do with CNN. I commend them for bringing out the facts as they are.

Do you mean to accuse me of spreading propaganda because I dare point out that it would be an extremely good and positive thing for the Palestinians to take up jobs in Iraq-–since there appears to be an abundance of opportunities.

Right-- I guess by you-– they should just remain status quo on the welfare dole of perpetuity!

John A   May 22nd, 2009 11:47 pm ET

Trouble is Filipe, they can't get out off Gaza because Israel has built a great wall around them and does not let Gaza trade with any neighbour and hence has crushed the Gaza economy.

If we boycott Israel for its extreme apartheid, you will find unemployment will rise in Israel. And the "boycott Israel for peace movement" will grow. So when your mates join you in unemployment , don't come crying.

John A   May 22nd, 2009 11:51 pm ET

Oh and why do your words make CNN look bad?

Because you’re idiotic words are on their website. This doesn’t make a serious blog opportunity look very serious.

G.   May 23rd, 2009 1:40 am ET

We had an industrial revolution back in the 1800's. That changed about everything. Mass production made our huge population explosion happen perhaps. Some countries are lowering their population, but most can't control it.

To support it, we rely on mass production especailly mass food production. Some countries go there and some rely on those who do it for aide. That's about the only choice for countries unless there's a big war that lowers population. It's hard to change, but taking baby steps, I think it's possible for everyone to support themselves in some way.

G.   May 23rd, 2009 1:42 am ET

I'm not certain the roads are good enough for the Palestinians to go to work. Maybe.

G.   May 23rd, 2009 2:44 am ET

It must be hard for agri people, those herding animals and growing gardens, or running some small market stall, to adjust to industry. People here, in the U.S. managed when my dad was young, some way. Guess it is possible, just hard. Doing the same labor eight hours a day, five days a week, every week, must be tough in general. And there are complications, water for fires, steam pressure, electricity in ample supply. I think the ME people can do it. Japan did it after being almost destroy after WWII. They have a lot of industry to support their people. Being dependent on others seems to weaken people even if it is easier.

John A   May 23rd, 2009 10:03 am ET

G, you dont want to be know as Gleigh any more. Cant blame you for that.

Do you know Israel receives more aid than any other country on this planet? Its a shame that Israel still uses the 6 day war ( 50 years ago) as an excuse to occupy other peoples land and practice ethnic cleansing.

Filipe   May 23rd, 2009 2:33 pm ET

John A Cut N Paste,

I knew someone like you would start to make excuses as to why the Palestinians can't work !!!!! What a joke !!!!!!

But what you say is pure nonsense--

First off-– not all of the Palestinians who are unemployed live in Gaza-–what about the Palestinians in the West Bank who are living off the welfare dole of perpetuity????

Second-- Is there some reason they can't leave Gaza via Rafah to go seek employment in Iraq??? Is it because Egypt keeps them caged up for fear they will infect the population of Egypt with their violence and hatred???

But now-- go ahead and change the subject because you have nothing but lame excuses for the Palestinians to stay on the welfare dole!!!!! What does " Boycott Israel have to do with the subject?

And how do you think any of that would affect me??? I'm not there !!!!

Filipe   May 23rd, 2009 2:57 pm ET

John A Cut N Paste,

So I guess your long winded cut n paste jobs thousands of characters long creates the aura of a serious blogspot !!!! What a laugh!!!!!

And you call my personal words "idiotic"! I guess when you get frustrated you feel the need to commence with the personal attacks. How typical.

I hardly think that your cut n paste examples of plagiarism, propaganda, falsehoods and fairy tales qualifies you as one who is serious about what is entered in the blogspot.

After all you said about your cut n paste jobs, and I quote you -–"And please, I’m not writing for your deluded benefit, it’s just I’m tired of seeing Zionist fanatics stalk and high jack this blog as a means to spread their outrageously out of touch propaganda."

That sounds like nothing more than a child throwing a fit because he's afraid someone else might be getting the upper hand!!!! Grow up!

Try accepting the truth for change!!! Try posting your own thoughts for a change' if you have any ! Try responding to those who ask you to defend the statements you post!!!

You do nothing more than cut and paste someone else's words-–then you can't even support what you've posted when someone questions you. It's also quite obvious that most of what you cut n paste you've never even read!

What a joke!!

Filipe   May 23rd, 2009 10:03 pm ET

John A Cut N Paste,

Do you know that the Palestinaians hold the world record for recipients of foreign aid??? Per the UN, the Palestinians receive more aid per capita than any other single group of refugees on the entire planet. In fact, the UN has created a special and dedicated organization to cater specifically to the needs of the Palestinian people and no one else. It's called UNRWA. UNRWA employees 24,000 people, 99% of them are Palestinian and the UNRWA world headquarters is located in the Gaza Strip. In fact, the UN supports the delivery of aid and humanitarian supplies to refugees throughout the entire world via their division called UNHCR- United Nations High Commission for Refugees. UNRWA- United Nations Relief Workers Association, which is dedicated 100% to the Palestinian cause, employees more people than the entire UNHCR world wide combined workforce !!!!!!! Can you imagine that!!!!!! WOW !!!!!

No wonder the Palestinians are perfectly happy-– not having jobs!!!! Why give up the good life of the perpetuity of the welfare dole ????

And you want to claim that Israel is the leading recipient of foreign aid in the world !!!!!!!!!!! What a hoot !!!!!!!

Who told you this?????? Did you see this on TV Palestine???? Or maybe IR Iran TV?????

John A   May 24th, 2009 12:19 am ET

Filipe the focus of your blog is to insult me. Paranoid Filipe, you don’t like the fact that Israel receives more aid than any other country on this planet? And far more aid than Palestine.

If we look at all your blog entries times & days (on the entire Middle East blog site), we can all tell that it’s you who doesn't have a job. So how dare you talk about Palestinians who don’t want to work? You spend your entire lonely life living of the dole and filling these blog pages with radical Zionist propaganda. Obviously you won’t desire for peace, while Israel receives free weapons from the USA. And obviously you don’t have any desire to find a job, otherwise you wouldn’t be writing rubbish blogs all day.

You still have no shame for supporting Israel, even though Israel is a morally bankrupt country.

Filipe   May 24th, 2009 1:47 pm ET

John A Cut N Paste,

What a laugh--you say "Filipe the focus of your blog is to insult me". !!!!!

It appears as though you are the one who is paranoid!!!! What have I to be paranoid about?? It is not my words which are in dispute!

Per the UN--–"The Palestinians, as a single group, receive more financial aid and humanitarian aid than any other single group on the entire planet!. You can verify this with the UN. Sorry you can't accept it- but that's your choice. That doesn't change that the fact that it is true. Nor does this mean that this is an attempt to insult you --you needn't take things so personal-– it's not worth my effort.

I'm rather amused that you think you can determine my employment status by the times and days which I appear on the blog!!!! That's quite amazing-–considering you have no clue as to the location from which I am blogging nor the type of work that I do. How is it you are so clairvoyant when it comes to these issues, yet so misguided when it comes to the understanding of basic social issues???

If you had anything to say to support your posts or your positions you'd spend your time doing so instead of ranting and raving and whining at me and complaining about my employment status!!!!

What business is it of yours as to how I earn a living??? I guarantee you I don't earn it living off the charity of others.

It appears, since you take it so personally, you must be included in the group which the UN considers to be the world leader in the recipient of foreign and humanitarian aid. Are you living off the welfare dole of perpetuity, John A Cut N Paste???

FYI-John A Cut N Paste-- For something to be considered propaganda, it must be a false statement, a lie, an untruth or a non fact--– none of which I post on this or any other blog.

However--you should examine your own posts of unknown cut n paste diatribe for eaxamples propaganda- as defined above--I'm sure it will become clear to you what propaganda really is!!!

John A   May 24th, 2009 9:08 pm ET

Filipe your words might influence the ignorant, but nobody else. Sorry to tell you.

You write about my cut N paste. That’s because I can refer to facts and paste them You can not, which is why you now write in the name of the UN, without being able to present these statements from the UN. Why is that? You intentionally make up laughable stories, to sway the lynch mob. Nevertheless Israel receives more aid than any other country in the world. In fact Israel receives approximately 30% of the entire world aid budget. Mostly of Israels aid is spent on weapons to prop up a sick regime.

Respond with another ignorant lynch mob mail if you wish. Nobody with an IQ higher than 70 will believe you. And certainly the current occupant of the White House wont believe you.

Filipe   May 25th, 2009 3:27 pm ET

John A Cut N Paste,

Your cut N paste jobs fail present facts as they are nothing more than your plagiarism of unknown and undisclosed sources. Simply because you post it to a blog does not not make it true.

Additionally, your continued and repeated refusal to answer any questions or provide any verification of you posts only solidifies my point that what your post has no validity. If they did you would not hesitate to support your statements. Instead, you only ignore the questions and comments that come from others and then resort to personal attacks and name calling!

Per the UN- the Palestinians receive more financial and humanitarian aid per capita than any other group on the entire planet!

But if your not American, as you claim, why the need to keep referring to the US and the White House??? Are you an illegal immigrant occupying stolen land–afraid to disclose your true self??

1) Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip receive one of the highest levels of aid per capita in the world.

(You do know what "per capita" means, right/?)

2)In December 2007, during the Paris Donor Conference, which followed the Annapolis Conference, the international community pledged over $7.7 billion for 2008–2010 in support of the Palestinian Reform and Development Program (PRDP).

( This is over and above the normal UNRWA welfare dole of perpetuity)

3)Following the 2008–2009 Israel–Gaza conflict, an international conference took place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, where donors pledged almost $4.5 billion for the reconstruction of Gaza.

( Again, over and above the regular UNRWA welfare dole of perpetuity?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_aid_to_Palestinians

4)http://israelipalestinian.procon.org/viewanswers.asp?questionID=592

5)http://www.forbes.com/2009/01/07/gaza-hamas-unrwa-oped-cx_cr_0108rosett.html

I won't bother you with a long drawn out 100 line list of other examples like you repeatedly do in an effort to get your propaganda a spot on the blog. But as you see I have provided the links for you to read the details if you'd like!

What Filipe doesn't want Americans to know.

http://www.washington-report.org/aboutwrmea/index.htm

The Cost of Israel to U.S. Taxpayers

Israel and Its Lobbyists Decline to "Share the Pain" of Budget Cuts

Washington Report on Middle East Affairs

Both Republican and Democratic members of Congress are insisting that "everyone has to share the pain" of major budget cuts starting this year and continuing until the budget is balanced. It's already clear, however, that "everyone" really means "everyone but the Israelis."

Under plans advanced by members of both parties, foreign aid will be cut by a billion dollars a year for three consecutive years, but not a cent will be deducted from Israel's share, which already is more than a third of America's worldwide foreign aid total. Nor, it seems, will anything be deducted from aid to Egypt, which is paid by the U.S. taxpayer primarily to keep the peace with Israel.

When Egypt's annual $2.2 billion in direct bilateral foreign aid, Jordan's approximately $350 million, and $100 million for Palestine are added to Israel's official total of $3.2 billion (which is far from complete, as demonstrated by the box on this page), the combined amount rises to more than half of the U.S. world-wide bilateral foreign aid total. Since that world-wide total is about to be reduced drastically, the amount reserved for Israel and friends will leave very little for anyone else.

Many American Jews are rightfully worried about the long-term effects this conspicuous unwillingness to "share the pain" will have on American perceptions of Israel's U.S. lobbyists, and the community from which they come. They remember how New York hotelier Leona Helmsley's scornful comment that "taxes are for the little people" transformed her into the most hated woman in America—and got her a berth in the slammer for income tax evasion.

However, American perceptions of their Jewish fellow citizens obviously are not on the minds of Israel's leaders, or their AIPAC hirelings, who have made the conscious decision not to give up a cent—and to make any members of Congress who suggest otherwise pay dearly at election time. So far it's working, with even the normally irascible Jesse Helms piously explaining that aid to Israel must not be touched because it's a "friendly" country.

Meanwhile economic and military aid has been suspended for Pakistan, which served as the operations base for the successful U.S.-Saudi campaign to drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan. Economic aid also has been suspended for Oman, which makes its real estate available to the U.S. Defense Department on a daily basis and which served as a major air and naval support base for Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Are these, and the seven African countries where USAID missions are being closed down this year, "unfriendly" countries? (All of sub-Saharan Africa got $1.2 billion in U.S. foreign aid in 1992, and since then the total for Africa has gone down while the total for Israel has gone up.)

The difference between Israel and the rest of the dwindling number of countries that receive any U.S. aid at all is that the other countries don't invest a sizable percentage of their aid money in what now is probably the biggest and certainly the most feared lobby inside the beltway. That lobby's sole job is to keep extracting more funding from U.S. taxpayers—even when they and their government are trying to cope with dwindling resources.

To save $24 billion over the next seven years, U.S. government employees are being asked to share the burden in a number of ways. Although lower-level federal employees are scheduled for a 2.4 percent cost-of-living increase next year, top officials in the executive branch and the senior executive service will have their salaries frozen for the next seven years.

Government workers also will be expected to pay an increased share of their health insurance premiums to save $11 billion over seven years. Future government retirees will have their annuities calculated on the basis of their highest five years of salary instead of their highest three years of salary as is the present practice. This will save $1.6 billion over seven years. Federal workers will be asked to contribute a higher percentage of their salaries to the federal retirement system, saving another $3.7 billion over the same period. Even members of Congress and their staffs will take a pension cut to save $10 million over the seven years.

Federal employee groups can be expected to complain vociferously over their share of the pain. But none would dare point out that during the same seven years in which their sacrifices will save Uncle Sam $40.3 billion, Uncle Sam will be paying Israel $44.247 billion to subsidize its inefficient economy, which remains perhaps the world's very last redoubt of old-fashioned, behind-the-iron-curtain socialism, providing its beneficiaries an easy life and reasonable standard of living while they produce little in return.

The difference is that the old Soviet Union accomplished this by plundering its own and its neighbors' economies and ignoring the resulting resource depletion and environmental degradation. The Israelis accomplish this not by plundering their own economy, resources and environment, but America's instead—and making sure that U.S. politicians who object don't get re-elected.

Obviously sacrifices on the scale contemplated for Americans are going to have to reach into every segment of American life. Cuts in highways, education, social programs, environmental efforts and many kinds of discretionary spending will have to produce savings of $190 billion over seven years. Those are the cuts that are going to hurt most at the local level. Imagine the relief if Congress suddenly said, "We're going to waive nearly a quarter of those cuts." It could be done if Congress just halted the $44.247 billion it will allocate in that seven-year period to Israel, a country with a per capita income of $10,600 in 1992, and an estimated per capita income of $14,000 in 1995. Those figures are comparable with many Western European countries, none of which receive U.S. economic aid.

Of course some of the contemplated cuts are on target. Who except tobacco farmers would regret the loss of the huge subsidy to U.S. tobacco growers, which amounts to $42 million annually? Huge, that is, until it's compared to aid to Israel, which amounts to $17,317,808 a day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year. That wasteful annual subsidy to all of America's tobacco farmers amounts to less than 2-1/2 days of aid to Israel. Could Congress maybe cut out both?

And then there's the U.S. Geological Survey, whose basic research helps find oil, natural gas, underground water and an array of commercial minerals. It also compiles the basic geological, hydrological and cartographic data that help provide early warnings of earthquakes, landslides, floods and volcanic eruptions, not to mention deterioration of water quality in the nation's lakes and rivers. The Geological Survey may be abolished to save $586 million a year—a bit less than the amount the U.S. gives to Israel every 34 days. Which do you think the American public would abolish if it were given the choice?

There's also the National Biological Service, beloved by environmentalists for helping to identify irreplaceable endangered species and habitats, and reviled by some entrepreneurs as an intrusive government agency seeking to infringe on private property rights. People from both sides of the ideological chasm can agree, however, that someone has to assemble the information upon which wise policies must be based. Therefore, shouldn't the public be given the choice of saving $166 million by abolishing the NBS or the same amount by skipping nine and a half days of aid to Israel?

No mainstream newspaper is going to pose those choices, however. Instead, Israel's hired stategists and spinmeisters are feeding journalists and columnists irrelevant and diversionary reports such as the one snapped up by Barbara Crossette in the Feb. 27 New York Times and Jessica Mathews in the Feb. 28 Washington Post about a January survey of 801 people by a University of Maryland public opinion center that indicated Americans thought that 15 percent of the national budget was spent on foreign aid; and a Harris Poll in November 1993 that showed Americans thought their government devoted 20 percent or more of its spending to foreign aid. The point of the stories was that in fact U.S. spending on foreign aid is about $13 billion, or 1 percent of the federal budget.

Perhaps an even bigger story might have been that of total American spending on foreign aid in a world of 5.5 billion people, more than a third goes to Israel, with a resident population of 5 million, or less than one thousandth of the world's total. It takes one heck of a lobby to accomplish such a distortion of U.S. international priorities.

John A   May 26th, 2009 10:52 am ET

Filipe lie N run, the last cut n paste adds details to your story.

"American spending on foreign aid in a world of 5.5 billion people, more than a third goes to Israel, with a resident population of 5 million, or less than one thousandth of the world’s total".

These are real facts. Thanks for the out of context Wiki link and the talk of pledges to Palestine. Remember though, the pledges were offered to rebuild what Israel destroyed, making this another cost to the world created by Israel. Also pledges rarely honored in full, as you know.

Filipe   May 26th, 2009 2:34 pm ET

John A Cut N Paste,

How could a link to Wiki be "out of context". The entire subject was there for your reading. That's why I chose not to cut n paste selected outtakes from the article. Do you even know or understand what "out of context" means??? Apparently not!

But- again, as I said above, I wouldn't burden you with a hundred lines of test or cut n pastes to prove my point. I'll leave that prized technique up to you-- as so well noted above.

All that being said in your wonderful cut n paste job above---do you bother to think where and with whom all of this foreign aid money is spent???

It's spent in the USA. But, I wouldn't expect you to know that or even care about that since you are neither an American or a an American Taxpayer.

So why are you so concerned about where the US spends it's money?

Why do you care, John A Cut N Paste??-it's not your money!!

Do you feel you have some right or authority to tell the US government or the American Taxpayers where and for what they should be spending their money??

Get over it !!! it 's really none of your business-is it??

If the US feels the need to support their allies in the ME--who are you to question them about their foreign policies????

Are you now the self appointed administrator of all world affairs for countries other than your own??

Get a life !!!

G.   May 27th, 2009 1:31 am ET

John A. – We have two computers now. This is my new computer so had to get a new name – new computer. Glad you recognized me. haha! I would guess you as the Prof. You got a new computer too??

In answer to your post – It's a shame that people, no country because there wasn't one – uses the move of Jewish people back to Israel in the 1940's – over fifty years ago, to attack Israel. Israel does exist. It should. Some refuse to even acknowledge that it exists. I find that odd and radical. I don't think the violence will stop really. I don't think people in the ME are capable really. Sadly. Wasted time and energy to try, just try to delay where possible.

My son just graduated college, as an engineer. My husband is one. My mother-in-law, almost 85 years old, is one. It was happy and heart warming. I hope all parents experience seeing their children become educated in a higher institute of some kind. I hope people in the ME make this their purpose. I know some just want to wipe others off the map. Shame on them. I speak for the young people, my children or other.

John A   May 27th, 2009 10:40 am ET

Filipe writes: Do you feel you have some right or authority to tell the US government or the American Taxpayers where and for what they should be spending their money??

The answer is no! But unfortunately successive US governments have never asked the American tax payer if they want to pay their taxes to Israel. If you recall the recent election campaign, neither Obama or McCain asked the American people if they want to donate their taxes to Israel. This is the real problem.

Another problem is when the US opposes Israels policies, Israel says mind your own business. When America agrees with Israel, Israel says that's their choice. Double standards all the way.

Barry   May 28th, 2009 2:29 am ET

John A -

I see all is well. The truth is still kicking your a$$. When you run out of lies and resort to accusing those telling the truth of being paid by the Jewish lobby, you reveal yourself as the morally bankrupt bigot you are.

John A   May 28th, 2009 8:45 am ET

Barry who also uses the name world traveller & university rector,
As usual your blog has no content and all you have managed is a gross display of hypocrisy.

So I will repeat the last point that you have failed to answer.

“American spending on foreign aid in a world of 5.5 billion people, more than a third goes to Israel, with a resident population of 5 million, or less than one thousandth of the world’s total”.

These are real facts. As for pledges to Palestine. Remember these pledges were offered to rebuild what Israel destroyed, making this another cost to the world created by Israel. Also pledges rarely honored.

Israel is not self sufficient and it's a regime which blatantly breaks the Geneva convention, breaks international law and receives the full backing from the USA.

G.   May 28th, 2009 2:08 pm ET

Israel purchased from the U.S. I think. So I've heard. Never made a deal myself, I don't deal in anything, but so our records go. They are "progressive," a popular term, and make products. It's a good match. I'm not certain what the people of Gaza mass produce and their factory production. I hope the ME people realize that it takes mass production, bare bones, to keep mass people fed and happy. Or we go back to making hand made shoes, one pair at a time, and have a small population. Many people could not exist though. Times change.

G.   May 28th, 2009 2:10 pm ET

People adapt to over population, learn to care for huge numbers instead of herding cows or goats, or they find a way to reduce the numbers of people living. The U.S. has a huge land mass. Some don't. So really, it's up to them and not us. We are not cramped.

Filipe   May 28th, 2009 7:51 pm ET

John A Cut N Paste,

The US Congress is responsible for determining the make up and details of your Foreign Aid Policy. And the US Congress is elected by the voters in the US. Thus the elected representatives of the US people are the ones who decide where the tax money is spent.

But you claim no one ever asks the US taxpayer if they want their tax money to go to Israel--" This is the real problem".

It appears to me, the real problem is you don't understand the working of the political system in the US-– therefore you make a big false assumption that the people of the US do not have elected representation within their government. Sorry-but your completely wrong!!!!

Besides that-- who are you to even assume that there is a problem?? Again-– it's not your tax money, it's not your government and it's not your decision in any way shape or form as to what is done with the US taxpayer money--- You have made several points to me that you are not an American--- so why do you keep attempting to make it your business ????

Sorry you don't like the fact that the US and Israel are allies and that the US supports Israel and their joint interests. Nothing you will ever say or do will change that!!!

John A   May 28th, 2009 7:55 pm ET

“American spending on foreign aid in a world of 5.5 billion people, more than a third goes to Israel, with a resident population of 5 million, or less than one thousandth of the world’s total”.

These are real facts. As for pledges to Palestine. Remember these pledges were offered to rebuild what Israel destroyed, making this another cost to the world created by Israel. Also pledges rarely honored.

Still no answer to these points from the Zionist Clueless Klux Klan

Filipe   May 28th, 2009 8:01 pm ET

John A Cut N Paste,

Maybe if you keep up the ranting and the raving about the war crimes, crimes against humanity, breaking the Geneva Conventions, breaking the UN resolutions, trampling upon civil rights and civil liberties someone will feel sorry for you and take up you cause and lend some assistance.

Are you bucking for a job with UNRWA or maybe AI or maybe HRW???

But, from what I see, you probably will need to find another blogspot to accomplish this-- no one here seems to take your whining and crying and slobbering seroiously. Especially since you never seem to do anything except issue fact less and baseless diatribes of plagiarized material from unknown sources and lacking verifiable evidence of proof. (Propaganda) !!!!!!

John A   May 29th, 2009 10:08 am ET

Filipe again your blog has no content. Your words are a very poor attempt to claim you know it all.

Please answer the very well documented and proven points.

American spending on foreign aid in a world of 5.5 billion people, more than a third goes to Israel, with a resident population of 5 million, or less than one thousandth of the world’s total”.

These are real facts. As for pledges to Palestine. Remember these pledges were offered to rebuild what Israel destroyed, making this another cost to the world created by Israel. Also pledges are rarely honored.

Obama has already agreed to sign off 30 Billion of US taxes over 10 years as a gift to Israel. How much has he agreed to offer Palestine?

Try not to be such a bad loser and answer the points made.

Filipe   May 29th, 2009 1:40 pm ET

John Albania Cut N Paste,

I'm still waining on a single solitary answer form you on any of the questions posed to you.

But to your question-- "How much has he agreed to offer Palestine?"

I give up, how much ??

I know that the US is the single largest contributor to UNRWA-- the dedicated Palestinian welfare organization of perpetuity !!!

John A. – as a taxpayer, of course we should more aide to Israel. It's an ally and it buys from us and we buy from them. It's been that way awhile. Of course, we feel sorry for those who need aide, but most of feel a connection to our allies, like England and Canada and others. When 9/11 happened, our allies were sad. Some were dancing in the streets in the ME. I found that really sad. And very, very offensive. What kind of people rejoice in that kind of slaughter of janitors and cooks and firemen and people at work? I guess we should turn around and give those same people aide money. I don't love the idea though.
