JERUSALEM (CNN) -- Authorites investigating the stabbing of an Arab man say the attack may be the work of a Jewish serial knifer.

The victim was stabbed in Jerusalem on Tuesday, Israel Radio said.

Police said the man was seriously wounded near a neighborhood where several Arabs have been knifed in the past year, according to the Israel Radio report.

The report said police were investigating the case as part of an ongoing series of attacks by a suspected Jewish assailant.
