Northern Iraq (CNN) -- Ethnic Kurds in northern Iraq are not pressing for their independence in the wake of the U.S.- British bombing of Iraq. Instead, they are laying low and trying not to provoke Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

Correspondent Jane Arraf talks with representatives from various Kurdish factions.
