War's secondary effects rival the real thing in Chechnya

MOZDOK, Russia (CNN) -- If bombs and artillery fire aren't enough to make living in Chechnya undesirable, the by-products of war between Russia and the rebels are helping to make the breakaway region unlivable.
From raging oil fires to underground radioactive waste, Chechen refugees weigh the options: squalid conditions in a neighboring republic or an uncertain and dangerous future in their homeland.
CNN's Steve Harrigan reports.
