NATO begins 5th day of airstrikes

(CNN) -- NATO forces began a new round of air attacks against Serb military targets in Yugoslavia on Sunday.
The military alliance said the air attacks were aimed at crippling the Yugoslav army's capability to wage war on the ethnic Albanian majority in the Serb province of Kosovo.
The strikes came as NATO officials warned of a "humanitarian disaster" in Kosovo. U.S. and British commanders are moving
more aircraft into the region and to bases in Britain to
participate in the raids.
Following four previous rounds of bombings, NATO says its aircraft will increasingly target Yugoslav army positions south of Belgrade and in Kosovo, where NATO officials said Yugoslav troops and Serb forces are engaged in a coordinated campaign against civilians.
