With its short, stubby wings, the single-seat F-16 is one of the most maneuverable fighter-bombers ever built. It can fly at speeds above Mach 2 and at altitudes above 50,000 feet.

F-16s were used in greater numbers than any other plane in the Persian Gulf War.

The F-16 CJ model is equipped with radar-seeking missiles for knocking out hostile anti-aircraft missile sites.
