A ground attack fighter that accommodates one pilot, the Harrier is a joint British-American made aircraft used by the Royal Air Force and the U.S. Marine Corps. It has a maximum speed of 661 mph (1,065 km/h) and a range of 2,202 kilometers (1,368 miles). It is armed with two 25 mm cannons and can dispense bombs, rockets and Sidewinder missiles.

The aircraft's length is 47 feet 1 inch (14.36 meters), and its wingspan is 30 feet 4 inches (9.2 meters.) Maximum weight at takeoff is 31,000 pounds (14,061 kilograms.)
