Terror bomb brings unity, anger to Omagh

OMAGH, Northern Ireland (CNN) -- The terrorist bombing that took 28 lives and injured more than 200 other people has unified this small town in anger.
With a population of just 1,800, Omagh is a place where the dead and injured are more than new statistics in a decades-old conflict over British rule in Northern Ireland. They are friends and family.
While neighbors comfort one another and look to the future as a time for rebuilding broken spirits, there is an outpouring of outrage. "Unfortunately," says one Omagh resident, "I think anger will unite us."
As Matthew Chance reports, the bombers -- whoever they are -- have no meaningful support in this traumatized town, which is home to both Catholics and Protestants. In Omagh, they are seen as nothing but killers.
