Pizza-making in Italy: The champions of spinning dough

SALSOMAGGIORE, Italy (CNN) -- They are the Harlem Globetrotters of pizza dough. Spinning, turning and tossing the dough stretched thin and round by their quick hands, a Sicilian team won Italy's first official pizza-making competition Wednesday. Some of the moves were athletic: The pizza-makers danced and kept the dough spinning, passing it around their legs and behind their backs and tossing it straight up into the air. One man lay down and kept his dough in motion from the floor.
