of government structure:
- Bicameral parliament: The Czech Republic's
bicameral parliament consists of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.
- Senate: The Senate is composed of 81 members
directly elected by simple majority vote for six-year terms. One-third of the Senate (27 members) are elected every two years.
- Chamber of Deputies: The Chamber of Deputies
is composed of 200 members directly elected by a system of proportional representation for four-year terms.
