UNHARI VILLAGE, North Korea (CNN) -- An American think tank is generating a new way of thinking about humanitarian aid to North Korea by building windmills in the country.

A rural wind farm, a project of the U.S.-based Nautilus Institute, so far powers a kindergarten, a medical clinic and 20 homes in a village where electric power is unreliable.

Reporter Natalie Pawelski has more on the story.
