Bank closing takes shine off shoe business

SAPPORO, Japan (CNN) -- Hokkaido Takushoku, one of Japan's largest banks, announced it would close its doors Friday. And another venerable institution may also be on the way out. An 83-year-old shoe shine woman, who has worked in the shadow of the bank building for 30 years, says business has never been so slow.
