SEOUL, South Korea (CNN) -- A game Koreans once considered a luxury sport is gaining popularity, thanks to the U.S. Women's Open win by 20-year-old Pak Se Ri.

South Koreans apparently can't get enough of their new champion and her favorite sport.

When Pak sank an 18-foot (5.5-meter) putt to win the title, most of her homeland was sleeping. But television stations played her winning shot over and over again.
