CNN MultiChoice African Journalist 2008 AwardsTHE PRIZESThere are 18 prizes available. These will be awarded for the categories detailed in this form. A prize fund in excess of $250,000, ensures that the finalists enjoy an all expenses paid finalists’ programme of activities and workshops in Accra, Ghana culminating in the gala awards ceremony. Category winners will also receive, a state-of-the-art laptop computer with modem and printer and a substantial cash prize. OVERALL GRAND PRIZE: CNN MultiChoice African Journalist 2008 From the winners, the judges will award the grand prize to the journalist whose individual piece or body of work merits the title CNN MultiChoice African Journalist 2008, whether they be a Print, Television, Internet, Radio or Photographic entry.
