Interviews with 1,000 adult Americans conducted December 15-18, 1995.
A majority of Americans disapprove of the presence of U.S. troops in Bosnia, according to a new CNN/USA-Today/Gallup Poll. And a minority is confident that the United States will be able to accomplish its goals in Bosnia with very few or no casualties. This is in contrast to the large majorities who expressed confidence in U.S. deployments in Haiti in 1994 and Somalia in 1993.
