JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (CNN) -- Frenchman Alain "Spiderman" Robert lived up ... and up and up to his nickname on Monday.
The daredevil conquered a 21-story skyscraper, this time in Johannesburg.
Pedestrians were stunned when Robert hooked his hands into a groove on the building and proceeded to make his way up the side of it.
"He's mad, look at him," said one passer-by.
Some agreed but thought he had a lot of courage.
The feat took 10 minutes. Robert's hands were cut and a bit sore. But he was pleased he wasn't arrested.
"Normally, the police catch me and arrest me at the top," Robert said.
Robert has climbed skyscrapers all over the world, including the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the world's tallest.
