SHANGHAI, China (CNN) -- A Shanghai nightspot has a new spin
on entertainment. You can sip your favorite drink and make a
pot at the White Art Pottery bar -- and customers appear to
love it.
Would-be artists have access to a spinning wheel to make
their creations.
Bar manager Xing Jianping said the idea was to give customers
a place where they can relax and create. And with customers
queuing up to have a go at the potter's wheel, the young
entrepreneur appears to have found a market niche.
Many escape to the bar to unwind from the stress of the
city's busy financial center.
"I feel very relaxed, like I don't have to think about
anything else. There is no pressure," said 24-year-old Yu
Zheng.
This feeling was echoed by Liang Ning, another young customer
who said, "making these pottery items lets me feel a sense of
achievement."
