NEW DELHI, India (CNN) -- Pakistani and Indian negotiators
completed a second day of talks Saturday, including a
20-minute meeting for the Pakistani delegation with Indian
Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda.
The negotiators reported some progress in their talks, but
declined to comment on whether the talks had narrowed the two
sides differences over the Himalayan territory Kashmir.
The Pakistanis want the talks, the first between the two
countries in three years, to focus on Kashmir, while the
Indians want to concentrate on trade and maritime issues.
