Serbs go to polls for municipal runoff

BELGRADE, Serbia (CNN) -- The Serbian opposition party hoped
to fare better in Sunday's municipal runoff elections after
being soundly beaten by President Slobodan Milosevic's
leftist coalition in national elections two weeks ago.
The opposition Zajedno (Together) coalition alleged abuses
during the November 3 elections in several districts,
charging that officials would not allow opposition members to
take part in some electoral boards, which supervise ballot
counting and voting procedures.
