11 dead in Turkish tourist bus crash

KORKUTELI, Turkey (CNN) -- A bus carrying German, Dutch and Swiss vacationers plunged 100 feet down a ravine in southern Turkey Thursday, killing 10 tourists and a Turk, and injuring 19 other people, police and hospital officials said. The accident happened in Korkuteli, near the popular resort city of Antalya.
The bus was carrying around 30 tourists from Antalya to the inland town of Pamukkale. Police said the bus appeared to have overturned while driving at high speed on a wet road.
