Pigs make a break for it

Web posted at: 6:10 p.m. EDT (2210 GMT)URAWA, Japan (CNN) -- More than 40 pigs ran for their lives Monday when the truck they were riding in to the slaughterhouse overturned on an expressway north of Tokyo.
The pigs brought traffic to a halt as they scattered from the scene of the accident, but their bid for freedom ended in two hours as highway patrol officers captured them.
The accident occurred when the truck driver swerved to avoid a car, police said.
