King Square: The Tel Aviv square where Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated at a peace rally has been renamed after him, Israel's army radio said on Monday, November 6, 1995.
Ichilov Hospital: Rabin was rushed here after the shooting. The 73-year-old prime minister later died in surgery.
Tel Aviv University: With more than 23,000 degree candidates, of whom 15,000 are undergraduates, and 1,800 faculty members Tel Aviv University is the largest Israel's seven institutions of higher learning. Nine faculties, 103 departments and 70 research institutes offer a wide range of study programs and research facilities.
