LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (CNN) -- An Arkansas man fined for
overdoing it on Christmas lights is helping light up the
Disney/MGM studios in Orlando, Florida.
Jennings Osborne loaned 2 million of his 3 million Christmas lights to the theme park Thursday. The lights will be on after Thanksgiving and through Christmas.
In past years, Osborne's homegrown holiday display has
attracted thousands to his Little Rock community, prompting a
lawsuit by his neighbors. Osborne was fined $1,500 for
ignoring a court order to keep his lights turned off.
ORANGE PARK, Florida (CNN) -- Look out Tokyo, Godzilla is
missing. The 8 foot-tall inflatable monster disappeared from
a family's yard on Halloween. Godzilla was the centerpiece of
their holiday display. The family is offering a reward for
the return of the monster, deflated or inflated.
SCITUATE, Massachusetts (CNN) -- The U.S. Coast Guard was
called Friday to help a deer struggling in the ocean about a
mile from shore. Crew members used their boat to direct the
animal. No word on how the deer landed in the water, but he
wasn't wearing a life jacket. No citation was issued.
