SAN DIEGO, California -- A snake having babies at the San Diego Zoo is no big deal, unless, of course, the mother has two heads. So, do the babies take after their unusual mother, named Thelma and Louise?
Well, there are 15 little snakes and 15 little heads. One for each.
ALBANY, Oregon -- Shoppers low on cash often use credit cards to bail them out. Now a Visa or Mastercard can bail you out of Linn County Jail in Oregon. The sheriff says using plastic for bail and security deposits should ease jail overcrowding on nights and weekends. However, the jail doesn't take American Express.
LOS ANGELES -- Another side of the Heidi Fleiss story is coming to network television. CBS is planning a two-hour movie about the life of her father, Paul. It will look at how the pediatrician got involved in money laundering for his daughter's prostitution ring. He's on probation for bank fraud and conspiracy, and he could lose his medical license.
NEW YORK -- If you feel discriminated against for drinking tea in a coffee world, take heart. The makers of Mr. Coffee have introduced Mrs. Tea. It resembles a coffee maker, uses loose leaves or tea bags, and filters up to six cups of tea into a ceramic pot. Mrs. Tea costs about $50.
