LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- While O.J. Simpson was on the telephone with CNN Monday, his lawyers were questioning Kim Goldman in connection with her family's wrongful death lawsuit against Simpson.
Goldman is the sister of Ron Goldman who was murdered with Nicole Brown Simpson on June 12, 1994. Simpson was acquitted of the stabbings in October 1995.
After giving her deposition, Goldman told reporters she was asked about her brother's relationship with family members and friends, as well as his business aspirations.
She said the questioning by Simpson's lawyers at times was vicious, and it attacked her brother's character and lifestyle. (127K AIFF sound or 127K WAV sound) She maintained that Ron was clean-cut, did not take drugs and was not a "partier."
She described the question: "Do you hate Mr. Simpson?" as the most difficult of all. She said she answered that she did, indeed, hate Simpson. (127K AIFF sound or 127K WAV sound)
When asked about Simpson's live phone interview on CNN's "Burden of Proof" Monday, Kim Goldman and her father, Fred Goldman, said they were aware of Simpson's phone interview, but they didn't care about what he had to say.
They only care about what Simpson had to say under oath during his recent deposition, the Goldmans said.
