CNN O.J. Simpson Trial

63% of all Americans believe that the charges against O.J. Simpson are true, but only 43% say that the prosecution has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Simpson is guilty of murder. When the trial began in January, 70% of the country thought the charges against Simpson were definitely true or probably true, and in June that figure had risen to 75%. But since June, the number of Americans who think the charges are true has been steadily slipping. About a quarter of the public now thinks the charges against Simpson are not true.
