Moderate earthquake shakes southern California desertSAN BERNARDINO, California (CNN) -- An earthquake shook the San Bernardino County desert area of California Saturday morning, but there were no reports of injuries or damage. According to Kate Hutton, a seismologist with the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California, the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 3.1.
