WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Pierre Laurent and Amanda Abreu are among hundreds of young people from around the country who came to Washington this week to meet with government officials, including President Clinton, to share what they know about youth violence -- and how to stop it.

As CNN Correspondent Bruce Morton reports, the two Massachusetts teens are talking up a solution that works at their high school -- a mediation program that encourages quarreling students to work out their problems.
