The following is a transcript of one of the early 911 calls from the shooting at Wedgwood Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, on Wednesday. CALLER: Shots were fired at the Baptist church, southwest Fort Worth. There's a big rally going on here ... don't know what else is going on. ... Well, if it's a (inaudible) or something, I'd rather have you on your way. DISPATCHER: What's your name, sir? (Silence) DISPATCHER: How many shots were fired? CALLER: About six or eight. The guy pointed a gun at me and shot at me. DISPATCHER: The person who had the gun -- was he black, white, or Hispanic? CALLER: I didn't notice. He had on a black T-shirt and dark jeans. DISPATCHER: A black T-shirt and dark jeans? CALLER: Yup. DISPATCHER: Okay... and you don't know if he was black, white, or Hispanic? CALLER: I didn't see. He had on glasses. He was clear down the hallway. All I saw was flash of the muzzle and then I headed off in the other direction. DISPATCHER: Which way did he go? CALLER: Well, he looked like he was headed for the working center, which is where all the people are. That's where all the kids are. ... Looks like there's already a (inaudible) out there. DISPATCHER: Do you know who this person is? CALLER: No, I didn't recognize him. I didn't stick around that long. I just saw him and he pointed the gun at me and fired it ....
