NEW YORK (CNN) -- In Manhattan, where traffic crawls, and finding a parking space is like discovering buried treasure, you'd think drivers would prefer small, fuel-efficient vehicles. Wrong.
New Yorkers, like motorists all over the United States, are clamoring for sport utility vehicles, figuring big is better, no matter the consequences.
