(CNN) -- More blood was spilled Thursday in an American school, when six Georgia high school students were wounded by bullets, allegedly fired by a fellow student. The shooting in Georgia comes one month after 15 people died at Columbine High School outside Denver when two students went on a killing spree.
The violent incidents have parents wondering if their child's school could be the next one hit by gunfire or bombs.
Correspondent Ann McDermott explores the "fear factor" in education and what experts recommend to prevent massacres like the one at Columbine.
