FAIRFAX COUNTY, Virginia (CNN) -- Cliques are common in America's high schools, a melting pot where adolescents forge identities and seek acceptance of their peers.
In the aftermath of the Columbine High School massacre in Colorado -- a case where two student outcasts raged violently against other students -- educators are looking for ways to break down such barriers.
