(CNN) -- Schools have become bigger in recent decades,
meaning students have more opportunities, such as specialized classes and activities.
But is the trend a wise one? Big schools can also make
students feel isolated, lost and frustrated, which some say may partly explain the school shooting in Colorado.
Chicago Bureau Chief Jeff Flock spoke with students, educators and experts in suburban Chicago, and presents a lesson in Big School 101.
