A new test ahead for Columbine High School
April 26, 1999
LITTLETON, Colorado (CNN) -- Students and faculty who survived last week's blood bath at Columbine High School are determined not to let the gunmen write the final chapter for the school they tried to destroy.
Many survivors are spending hours at funerals and memorial services for the 12 students and one teacher killed by the attackers.
Students will finish out this school year in half-day sessions at a neighboring school, beginning Friday. But some are already talking about reclaiming their own school.
Watch this report to find out more about the uneasy task.
