WASHINGTON (CNN) -- As NATO nations planned more airstrikes
Friday against Yugoslav military targets, U.S. Secretary of
State Madeleine Albright called Slobodan Milosevic a "cruel
dictator" and told CNN the Yugoslav leader has made no
"positive" diplomatic effort to end the attacks.
"We will do this as long as is necessary," she told CNN
anchor Carol Lin.
