LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Gasoline prices in the United States have been edging up in recent weeks as major oil producing countries proceed with plans to cut back production.

While it's unwelcome news to millions of Americans with fuel-guzzling sport utility vehicles (SUVs), gasoline remains relatively cheap, at about $1 a gallon on average nationwide.

As Correspondent Charles Feldman found out, SUV owners face a choice: changing their driving habits or paying more at the pump.
