SOUTH FLORIDA (CNN) -- The sights and sounds of America's national pastime are returning to Florida and Arizona, as major leaguers suit up for spring training.

But along with the anticipation of opening day comes some familiar worries: skyrocketing player salaries, fed-up fans, and too many teams that don't have the money to stay competitive.
