DETROIT (CNN) -- The U.S. Mint's new version of the quarter is hitting the streets. George Washington is still "heads," but the "tails" will be 50 different pictures representing the 50 states.

These are the first new coins since the Susan B. Anthony dollar came out in 1979. The earliest states in the union roll out this year: Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia and Connecticut. By 2008, the series will be complete.
