NEW YORK (CNN) -- MRIs and X-rays can save lives as medical tools. But can they inspire the soul as artistic works?
An MRI of performance artist Laurie Anderson's brain, the 1911 X-ray of a skull with two bullet holes and reproductions of slivers of human anatomy specimens are only a few of the oddities bringing crowds to the Julie Saul Gallery.
Correspondent Jeanne Moos finds out that artistic beauty is
more than skin deep -- no bones about it.
