WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday will take up the issue of peer sexual harassment, in a case that grew out of a fifth-grader's complaint that her school failed to stop repeated sexual advances made by a schoolmate.

Senior Washington Correspondent Charles Bierbauer looks at the far-reaching implications the case has for students and school districts nationwide.
