SALINE, Michigan (CNN) -- A group of high-school seniors has excellent timing.

For the last year, they've been planning a trip to Washington. By chance, it begins February 7 -- which lands them in town in the middle of President Clinton's impeachment trial.

Now their impending visit to the nation's capital could make them witnesses to history in the making.

CNN's Ed Garsten checks in with a classroom looking forward to the trial of the century.
