Follow the bouncing Zorb
And the human inside it
NEAR TRUCKEE, California (CNN) -- Would-be thrill-seekers not bold enough to bungee, or too out of shape to ski, have another option for winter fun: the Zorb. Think of it as a very big beach ball that rolls downhill, with you inside.
The 10-foot, clear plastic ball has an air cushion that surrounds the rider and absorbs the shock of bouncing down a snowy hill.
"What a ride!" boomed Andrew Miller, manager of Northstar-At-Tahoe, after a 15-second test-run. The California ski resort paid $7,000 for its Zorb and will charge guests $20 per roll. "It's hard to let yourself just go with it and know that you don't have control over it," Miller said.
After all that bouncing and rolling, you might not have control over your last meal, either.
