NORTHVILLE, Michigan (CNN) -- Dr. Jack Kevorkian, longtime practitioner of assisted suicides, has taken his right-to-die campaign to a new level, performing what he calls his first case of euthanasia in a videotape shown on national television Sunday.

CNN's Ed Garsten presents the emotional reaction of some people opposed to Kevorkian's latest action, including Catholic clergy -- and a woman whose mother died with assistance from the doctor.
